The role
Button Health is seeking full-time and part-time family physicians to provide continuity care with a clinic-supported roster.
Flexible scheduling to support work-life balance. Full-time is 33 clinical hours a week, and Saturday sessions are optional.
A physician at full-time hours starts with a roster of approximately 1,200 patients, growing up to 2,000 by month six if wanted. Part-time schedules carry a proportionate roster. You select your panel during onboarding.
The 1,700-square-foot clinic has seven exam rooms and is located in a dedicated medical building.
Enrolment is FHG. The practice is continuity care only: no walk-in service, and no on-call obligation.
Compensation
- Split
- 80/20, with first OHIP billing cycle 100/0
- Annual bonus
- Up to $120,000 at full-time hours, over and above OHIP and any block-fee billings
Practice support
- Led by a clinic director with extensive experience in healthcare management and clinic operations
- Two full-time in-office MOAs, an offshore MOA, and a clinical assistant
- Online booking, patient self-check-in, and a patient portal for results and automated follow-up
- An established patient panel from day one at full-time hours, with roster growth managed by the clinic
- Patient acquisition, roster management, growth, and marketing managed and paid for by the clinic
- Planned time away covered in clinic: patients are seen by the group and recurring sessions are held
- Space, EMR, supplies, and equipment provided
- Optional third-party billing support

Annual professional allowance
Up to $5,000 annually for CME, conferences, CPSO, CFPC and OMA dues, and licensing.

Responsibilities
- Continuous, comprehensive primary care to the patients on your roster, including diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management of acute and chronic conditions.
- Physical examinations, routine health assessments, and preventive care.
- Ordering, interpreting, and following up on laboratory tests and diagnostic imaging.
- Prescribing and administering medications and treatments in line with current best practice.
- Assessing and managing ADHD, including medication initiation and ongoing management.
- PrEP assessment, initiation, and follow-up.
- Complete, accurate clinical records in the practice EMR.
Requirements
- Current, valid CPSO Certificate of Registration for Independent Practice, or licensed in another province
- CCFP certification, or board certification in family medicine through an approved training program in the USA, UK, Ireland, or Australia.
- Eligible for CMPA coverage
